CHICKENS
A large portion of our business is centered around chickens and chicken care. You can be rest assured that we have you covered.
Whether you are feeding laying hens, chicks or pullets, we supply a large range bagged poultry feed suitable to the age of your chicken from our main suppliers Barastoc & Laucke Mills. We also stock iO and Country Heritage.
There are also suitable options for breeding and growing meat birds and ducks.
Chooks also deserve to be treated every once and a while whether it be Live/Dried Mealworms, Dried Black Soldier Fly Larve or a single grain or Scratch Mix.
From time to time, chooks can become unwell or be attacked by common critters such as lice, mites and parasitic worms. We stock multiple treatment options as well as hygiene solutions to keep your coop both clean and sanitised.
There are so many options out there for coop setup, feed, accessories and enrichment activities and it can be a little overwhelming! Feel free to pop in and speak to our experienced staff on what options will suit your needs.

In the warmer months (October-May) we have small batch Heritage Breed pullets available of various breeds.

EQUINE & STOCKFEED
We’re dedicated to supporting the health and productivity of your animals. We offer a full range of high-quality feed, Lucerne & cereal hay and premium chaff for horses, cattle, sheep, goats, and other livestock.
The ethos of our business is valuing relationships and partnerships with local farmers, suppliers and our community to ensure that we are supplying not only locally sourced products where possible but also the best quality hay and chaff, fundamental to the health and condition of your horse and/or livestock.
We also stock specialised bagged feeds and mixes whether it’s a complete feed, balancer or supplement to your horse’s pasture. Our brands include Hygain, Benchmark, Johnson’s, Prydes, Mitavite, Coprice and Laucke Mills.
Our bagged feed supply is driven by our passionate equine and livestock customers, if you are seeking a specific feed that we don’t currently stock, we are more than happy to source it for you.

What Is A Wicking Bed?
Wicking garden beds are essentially self-watering pots which come in a variety of sizes. Plants in a wicking bed can last weeks without additional watering. Apart from the benefit of reduced frequency of watering, there is an increase in growth rate and productivity due to the consistent amount water in the soil.
A wicking bed is a self-watering bed with a reservoir of water under the soil. Wicking is the movement of water by capillary action without the assistance of gravity. In a gardening or horticultural context, it is the upward movement of water through soil, giving plants the ability to absorb water from below. (Reference: Adelaide Hills Veggie Gardens)
The Timber wicking beds come in a range of sizes/modules: 2,3,4 & 6. They come fully assembled, lined and ready to “plug-and-play”. All you need to do is pop in your perlite, wicking mix and you are ready to plant!

Chickens
Chooks are our specialty, we have a good supply of commercially bred everyday laying hens available year round, and small batches of locally bred heritage breed hens are available through the warmer months.
Garden, Gift and Homewares
Take a stroll through our stunning garden space where you will see a focus on growing your own food and plants suitable for our local climate. We have large range of herbs and veggies, Natives, citrus, fruit trees, companion plants and pollinators. We stock a thoughtfully curated selection of pots, planters, gift and gardenware.
Dog & Cat
Following our goal to stock mainly Australian Made feeds, our Dog and Cat range reflects this. We stock premium ranges such as Purina Pro Plan, Ivory Coat and Black Hawk and a variety of budget friendly options such as Supercoat, Stockman & Paddock and Cobber, Laucke and Felix.
Equine and Stock Feed and Hay
We carry an extensive range of Equine and stock Feed, Supplements and accessories We pride ourselves on being stockists of premium quality hay and chaff and can deliver to your paddock, stable door or agistment.
Small Animal & Bird
We carry a large range of Australian grown bird seed, as well as feed, treats and accessories for all birds and small animals, rabbit and guinea pigs. We even have live feed and frozen rodents to feed your lizards and reptiles.
Beekeeping
We have backyard beekeepers on staff and have an ever expanding range of hives, tools, beekeeping suits, protective gear and extraction equipment in stock all year round. We have our own hives on site and sell our local raw honey and beeswax in store.
